It's Been... One Week

Wow- this has been the fastest week of our lives!  It's pretty amazing how quickly one little baby can suck the energy right out of a grown adult. Ben and I could have never prepared ourselves for what we had in store for us when we got home with little Hudson last week, but we have eased into our Mama and Daddy roles, learning as we go. Thankfully, he has turned out to be an incredibly laid-back kiddo; in fact, I can count on one hand the number of times he's been "fussy" or unhappy! It takes a lot to get him upset, but when he does, he likes to take it out on his daddy during diaper changes. :) Poor Ben, always the victim. But let me tell you what a blessing it was having Ben home all last week on Spring Break! I could not have done it without his help; he is truly a natural when it comes to being a Daddy, even more so than I imagined him to be. And now that I am a mother, I have an overflow of love and joy in my heart that could only come from Jesus. We feel so blessed by this child of God already, we just can't get enough of him each day! Hope you all are enjoying the pictures- you should see the compilation we have already for week 1. Unbelievable.
